it was a big week for economic news as the Astros allowed the TWINS of all teams to sign Carlos Correa to the type of short-term deal that the Astros have historically been open to.  Geez.  In other news, there was also something about a FOMC meeting resulting FOMC officials lifted the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 bps.  In what is becoming “non-news”, retail sales, industrial production and housing underscored a similar backdrop across the economy—price pressure remains hot and supply is still hard to come by (in case you hadn’t noticed).
